Founded in 1945 in Bologna by Mario Chiodini under the name “La Minerva”, the company has grown steadily over the decades, becoming one of the most recognized Italian players in the industry.
Over the years, we have incorporated historic brands such as Artex and Omega Foodtech—specialized in slicers and owner of CEG, General Machine, Regina, and Suprema—and more recently, GAM International.
Through this path of growth, we have gained new expertise, specializations, and know-how, allowing us to offer a wide range of equipment designed for a variety of industries.

Today, Minerva Omega Group is led by the second and third generation of the Chiodini family and operates globally, with a presence in over 100 countries.

Historic Trademarks of National Interest

The trademarks La Minerva® and Omega FoodTech®, now part of Minerva Omega Group, have been officially registered in the Italian Register of Historic Trademarks of National Interest.
This recognition, granted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), honors brands that have established a lasting and meaningful connection with Italy’s industrial and manufacturing heritage, embodying the core values of Made in Italy excellence.
